About Us

Greetings, welcome to Sanya Children's Home.

Sanya was created in response to the struggle of orphans, abandoned, and street children. Homeless children lack access to basic living conditions, safety, education, and caring guidance. Unprotected, these children are vulnerable to mental illness, trauma, addiction, sexual illness, and HIV infection. Within the homeless population, homeless children, especially girls, are at the highest risk of trauma and sexual exploitation, which can lead to pregnancies that lead to new generations of street people. Therefore, homeless children deserve our attention. In Kenya, the size, nature, and capacity of support services to prevent school dropouts and street children are major issues. Sanya orphanage is located in Kisii County, Kenya, Our main goal is to meet the needs of children to achieve their dreams. The home is already housing more than 20 children. We are really concerned with the situation of these starving children. Children skip meals so that we can feed every mouth and sometimes go to bed hungry. I wish to thank our friends who work the very best to provide these kids with food, clean water, basic medications, hygiene, and wellness supplies. Through your donations, we are able to feed, clothe, and educate an orphan. I'm therefore in the lookout for more generous friends who would like to join with us to help restore hope for children. Prayer - Deuteronomy 31:8

Prayer request for Belden Momanyi

This little kid by the name Belden has a condition. He has a temporary loss of consciousness and uncontrollable movements (convulsions) that occur more often two or three times a day which makes him very weak. The kid went through several tests and procedures recently. A neurological exam was done, a head CT scan, a Brain MRI and an Electroencephalogram (EEG) test were also done on his head. They found a tumour in the brain, and doctors advised we get him a monthly dose tablet that costs $100 which he will be using until surgery is done to remove all the tumour cells. He will also be going for checkups until surgery is done. We are kindly reaching out with a prayer request for healing and breakthroughs and for God to show up quickly for him. Please pray for God's provisions for his monthly dosage which goes for $100. Please pray for him and all other children in our care because times are tough. But as Christians, we are given a reassurance and an encouragement that the Lord will precede us in everything we do, he will not send us into challenges, he will go before us and pave the way for us His people. Let us never be afraid or discouraged, for we have God's wonderful assurance that He will never leave us nor forsake us. He remains faithful for His Word is true, and He can not deny Himself. "Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you.” ~ Deuteronomy 31:8. Thank you.
